On MONOPOLY Roll 'Em the maths is plain two-dice maths: 36 possible combinations, a bell-shaped distribution and no surprises. Knowing how often each total "should" appear is the best way to read the live statistics without falling for the usual traps.
The Distribution of Totals
Two six-sided dice produce 36 equally likely combinations. The totals, however, are not equally likely at all: 7 can be made six different ways, 2 and 12 only one.
| Total | Combinations | Probability | In 100 rolls, about |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 1 | 2.78% | 3 times |
| 3 | 2 | 5.56% | 6 times |
| 4 | 3 | 8.33% | 8 times |
| 5 | 4 | 11.11% | 11 times |
| 6 | 5 | 13.89% | 14 times |
| 7 | 6 | 16.67% | 17 times |
| 8 | 5 | 13.89% | 14 times |
| 9 | 4 | 11.11% | 11 times |
| 10 | 3 | 8.33% | 8 times |
| 11 | 2 | 5.56% | 6 times |
| 12 | 1 | 2.78% | 3 times |
Low, Seven and High: The Real Numbers
Grouped together: Low (2-6) 41.67%, Seven 16.67%, High (8-12) 41.67%. Low and High are perfectly symmetrical — by construction there is no "hotter" side. Seven alone is worth as much as totals 2, 3, 11 and 12 combined.
What Live Stats Say — and What They Don't
The Spinlytics tracker logs every roll and shows the actual split across the last few dozen rounds. On small samples the gap from theory is normal and often striking: 20 rolls with 12 High outcomes is nothing unusual, just variance.
The classic mistake is "7 hasn't shown for 15 rounds, it's due". Dice have no memory: after 15 rounds without a 7, the next roll is still 16.67%. Drought streaks are useful for understanding a game's variance, not for predicting it.
Houses Change the Value, Not the Probability
The Building Phase adds multipliers to squares, up to 300x. Keep the two layers separate: houses change how much a total pays, not how often it lands. A 12 with three houses on it is still a 2.78% event.
